Hot Springs Village Angels began in 2020 by Dr Jade Sierra (Dr J) in response to the overwhelming needs of the homeless population in Hot Springs, AR.  During this time, Dr J decided that it was more important to help people then pay the administrative costs for nonprofit status. Therefore using personal funding, HSV Angels began administering to different folks and partnering where possible. The Angels started by providing bi-monthly clothes' washing opportunities in Hot Springs and later added projects targeting the veterans.

 

Hot Springs Angels’ Tutoring program, Kids Club's mission statement is to first motivate our community's children to want to read thus raising self-efficacy -"I know I can read" which will motivate the desire to read. Because of our passion and to meet the children when they are, we also have a second mission  and math focus filling in the gap for the children further  strengthening self-efficacy - "I know I can do math"  raises the desire to learn. The desire driven by the "I Can" attitude in both reading and math elevates the self-esteem and helps children become engaged readers, writers, and to love math. We serve the K-9th grade levels.

Today we are proud to announce that HSV Angels is a 501c3 nonprofit. This means you can donate to our non-profit and write it off your taxes.  This status also affords the opportunity to secure grants and other resources to fund missions.
